since i can't use wordpress OR livejournal, guess i'm left with blogger.... so here's 3 days worth of posts!!

(backdated, 02/03/07)

This place has successfully irritated the hell out of me.

First I find out I can’t access wordpress. Now, even livejournal is banned!! FREAK!! WHY are they banning all the blogs? Will I get sued into courts for whining about the fact that they ban all blogs? Idiots, I tell you.

Food, food, and more food!!

We went to a “food street” today, the whole row of shops sold DELICIOUS food! I am so getting humongously fat, no one will recognize me when I return to Singapore. Boohoo.

Shui and Baisheng walking down foodstreet.

A plate of chicken cost only $4++ (shared by 3 people, that’s only $1++ each) its good! The queue was really long cause its famous, but eewww people smoked inside these shops. Bleahz.

Me and Shui at the queue... actually there were many people behind us.

The cheap chicken. Cheap cheap! geddit geddit???

And I tried their muslim pastry too… eeeee not nice its cold and salty and the meat is cold. Boo. Sold by middle-eastern looking guys who spoke Chinese!

We entered this other store introduced by Shui’s guidebook that served FANTASTIC 小笼包!! It costs only 80CENTS Sing dollars for a huge basket, and each basket has TEN in it.

Oh mi god the food here is DIRT cheap and its really nice. We bought also this bowl of dumplings and it costs 40CENTS sing. Gosh we’re really living like kings here, taking cab everywhere and eating everywhere.

After that it was STARBUCKS! Whee!!! I’m turning into a starbucks whore here in China, not that its cheap, it’s the same price as Singapore, but it’s like a taste of home.

Boohoo.

We met some Singaporeans for dinner, and we ate western! Yum… I had cheese cake and a fruit salad plus red milk tea… its not bad you know.

A really dark picture of my food...

By the way I tried ALL these food in the space of about 4 hours.

NOW YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I SAY IM GETTING SO INFLATED!!! BOOHOO!!!

KTV

The k-box here are really, really high standard. Seriously. The rooms are all gorgeous, the price is dirt cheap, the food is delicious and again, dirtcheap.

me at the KTV!

The machines even have function buttons that allows you to press it and cheering/clapping/whistling sounds will come from it so you can cheer your friends on!

We sang from 12 midnight to 6am. I am about to faint from exhaustion. And. GOH SHUILING SINGS DAMN WELL!!! I was so so so amazed when I first heard her. Chin Guan as well!!! He’s damn pro. He’s the FIRST guy who managed to successfully finish singing 珊瑚海 with me…. Zai.

Imagine my stress, singing with these two ultra prop people. Can I stress again how much I love shui’s voice. Its really, really, nice. Haha don’t get too swell headed hor girl =P

People at the K box are dead scary. They smoke, they are drunk, and they scold and yell. We were stuck in the lift with a bunch of crazy teens. I never felt so acutely threated in my whole life. -_-“ Other then that, it was a great experience.

Us outside the room at almost 6am. SORRY i HAVE to blur out my face cause 我不可见人 at 6am. trust me.

singing makes me feel closer to home somehow.

Miscellaneous

Oh yeah I saw people fighting and arguing AGAIN today. There were two seafood shops facing each other on the food street, separated by a road. Competitors, I guess. They were fighting. On the ROAD. It was an all out fight.

an extremely blur picture taken by me... (i was trying to avoid trouble ok!!)

I’m starting to think people here don’t like peace. They like noise and action. Boohoo for me.

Why isn’t livejournal working? Gosh I’m so pissed. Growl.

Random Shots

Roadside seafood.....

the bare trees. winter please go away soon!

many people cycle in china. so many they zoom past you like 2/s. they are everywhere, on the roads, in schools, in parks. and everyone can cycle with one hand. boo.

she mumbles her nonsense ; {12:44 AM}
